ALANKA IS A TORONTO PHOTOGRAPHER,
VIDEOGRAPHER, CREATIVE DIRECTOR, VIDEO EDITOR & RETOUCHER.
Alanna studied business at the University of Toronto and during that time she also explored photography and video. She was fascinated by how a combination of video with music can convey a wide range of emotions. As Alanka’s passion for motion work grew stronger and her creative vision evolved the demand for her work grew exponentially. In 2020 she leaped into a full-time freelance career as a professional videographer, creative director and editor.
In the past 5 years she has built her portfolio in both photography and videography covering work in fashion, lifestyle and e-commerce product.
In December of 2023, Alanka launched her own photography studio, Blysk Studios. Blysk is a visionary space, dedicated to photography and video production, with the goal of encouraging creative individuals to explore and celebrate their diverse passions.
